Hi there! I’m

Jessica Elliott.

Let me tell you a little story…

I grew up as a highly creative kid in the 80’s. Influenced by the artists and entrepreneurs in my life, my childhood was all about play and creativity. What made me different was my sensitive and intuitive side. Caring for animals and spending time in nature was (and still is) my source of energy. Of course at the time, I wasn’t aware that empathy and compassion were my superpowers.

In my late teens, I landed in luxury retail. Understanding how people shop and putting outfits together was my speciality. I was also damn good at decoding how people think. This made me great at my job and I thrived in a commissioned environment. But in the end, I grew tired of the luxury retail world and it’s flippancy, so I quit my job to open my own business.

My story continues….

For the next five years, I co-owned a clothing boutique (during a recession) while working with family. To say this was a challenging time is an understatement! I grew up so fast and made mistakes along the way, but it’s what was needed to build my entrepreneurial foundation.

Fast forward to 2010 – I was living in Europe with my partner and enjoying our weekend trips full of adventure! Europe gave me the life experiences I needed to understand what I REALLY wanted to do. Ultimately, I used this time away to create a handful of side-hustles, but in the end, I wanted to be a part of something bigger.

I landed back in Canada with a fresh pair of eyes and new determination. I got recruited for a few jobs, and ended up switching careers, this time in Interior Design. Naturally, I started a new business providing visual services to retail establishments. It was during this time that I made an important discovery – I wasn’t serving the businesses; I was assisting the business owners themselves. It hit me – it was always the PEOPLE I was curious about. My childhood, my theater stint, the retail world – it all made so much sense. Suddenly, everything came full-circle for me, and this is where my coaching journey began.

My Coaching credentials.

In 2017, I attended Essential Impact Coaching three-day intensive program – and I was hooked. Immediately after, I was accepted into Royal Roads University Certified Executive Coaching program. Following this eight-month full-time program, I received my Associate Certified Coach accreditation from the International Coaching Federation.

Currently, you’ll find me working towards my Professional Certified Coach Accreditation and studying many modalities in the coaching and psychology worlds.

I’m a certified Designing Your Life Coach with the DYL Group in California. I deliver and coach around content and exercises from their books (Designing Your Life and Designing Your Work Life).
