Hi there! I’m

Jessica Elliott.

I grew up as a highly creative kid in the late 80’s. Influenced by the artists and entrepreneurs in my life, my childhood was all about play and creativity. What made me different was my sensitive and intuitive side. Caring for animals and spending time in nature was (and still is) my source of energy. Of course at the time, I wasn’t aware that empathy and compassion were my superpowers.

Jumping ahead to the age of twenty-three – I went for the highest achievement I could think of. I co-owned a clothing boutique during a recession, while working with family. To say this was a challenging time is an understatement! I grew up so fast, and I had too; retail isn’t easy and neither is a family business!

My story continues….

After four years in retail, I’d had enough, so I packed up and escaped to Europe. I used this time to create a handful of side-hustles, but I was bored and needed more. Europe gave me the life experiences I needed to test another path.  It also gave me a life-long love for european culture, food and the true art of living.

I came back to Canada in 2012 with a fresh pair of eyes. I switched careers, this time studying in Interior Design. I hadn’t even finished my first year of school before I started a new business providing visual services to retail establishments. It was during this time that I made an important discovery – I wasn’t serving the businesses; I was actually assisting the owners themselves. All throughout my life, It was the people who I was curious about. Suddenly, everything came full-circle for me, and this is where my coaching journey began.

What are your credentials?

I attended Royal Roads University Certified Executive Coaching program in early 2018. Following this, I received my Associate Certified Coach accreditation from the International Coaching Federation. Currently, you’ll find me working towards my Professional Certified Coach Accreditation and studying Neuroleadership.

I’m a certified Designing Your Life Coach with the DYL Group in California. I deliver and coach around content and exercises from their books (Designing Your Life and Designing Your Work Life).

Prior to coaching, I was an expert in the luxury retail industry with companies such as Birks Jewellers and Harry Rosen. From there, I worked for Giorgio Armani and BCBG as a Regional Visual Coordinator. These positions prompted me to attend BCIT for Interior Design, and I used those design skills, along with my merchandising background, to start my Visual Consulting company in 2015.
